This dot print was designed to coordinate with the floral prints from this collection. The colors are bright and there's a subtle batik print contained in all of the circles.
For the past five years, I have designed many home decor prints and have sold many as shower curtains. This past summer, I changed my process and began designing coordinated collections for the home decor market. Each collection features a similar color palette and theme, but my intention is to continue to build on these collections creating other prints that are similar in mood and color. As an artist, I find it very satisfying to be able to start with a simple concept and create many works from that one inspiring idea.
